Our client requires an experienced Used Truck Sales Manager for their dealership in Germiston
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Used Truck Sales Manager, will be in charge of managing and growing the existing Truck Sales Business and develop the brand & dealership to become top of mind when looking to purchase used trucks.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
Sales:
- Overall responsible for the sales performance of Used Truck Sales department and to meet or exceed the given sales targets.
Profitable Growth:
- Overall responsible for growing the Used Truck Business according to given targets and to deliver a minimum net profitability given by the company (Brand OEM)
Department Organization and Structure:
- Fully responsible for work environment and staffing issues.
- To be responsible for facility, quality and environment issues related to the Used Truck Sales Department.
- Development and increase of qualification and know how among the local sales team.
- Set goals (KPI’S) for the sales staff.
- To give the Division a clear vision and mission.
- To create the most efficient structure to optimise the business.
- Implementation of policies, strategies and processes throughout the division with clear focus on given KPI’S.
- Optimize employee satisfaction.
Customer satisfaction:
- Assessment & Acquisition of new and existing partner’s / customers.
- Meet or exceed given Customer Satisfaction Target’s.
Expectations:
- To meet or exceed planned performance against decided KPI’S
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION’S & WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 2-year Management experience in leading a Used Truck Department within a dealership environment.
- At least 5 years work experience in selling Used Trucks.
- Proven track record of sold trucks
- Proven business development skills.
- Ability to take a holistic view.
- Excellent sales skills.
- Ability to calculate life cycle costs of trucks in various operational circumstances.
- Excellent network in the truck and truck body builder industry.
- Ability to secure change through motivation, leadership and personnel management.
- Fluent in English (Spoken / written)
