Job description

The Dealer Operating Standard (DOS) coordinator is designated to implement and follow up the adherence to:

  • Company’s corporate directives within the authorised dealers and workshops. The main task is to coordinate all DOS activities within the business unit, ensuring that all dealers (Captive and Non captive) are in possession of a valid DOS certificate. Closely associated to this is to train and support dealers and workshops in companies Dealer Operating Standards and how to fulfil the requirements.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Train and support dealers and workshops in companies Dealer Operating Standard and how to fulfil the company’s requirements.
  • Create and maintain an audit plan that ensures that the network is held certified according to franchise requirements.
  • Report result of audits and action plans in an online portal.
  • Supervise the creation and implementation of action plans for the dealers and workshops that do not fulfil the companies Dealer Operating Standard.
  • Certify that the company’s dealers and workshops fulfils the companies Dealer Operating Standard.
  • Ensure that all data for dealers and workshops are continuously updated.
  • Supervise that the company’s internet presence within the market fulfils the requirements set up
  • Monitor that the national distributor provides sufficient support to the dealers and workshops, to fulfil the companies Dealer Operating Standard.
  • Take active part in meetings with the company’s global network of DOS coordinators.
  • Monitor result of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and consequent actions within the authorised network.
  • Monitor that CSI results are communicated to all dealer/workshop staff.
  • Be the contact person for the global DOS organisation, attend conferences and training activities.
  • Administrate the company’s International Service portal.
