Job Title: Dealer Development Manager
Reports to: Network Manager

Remuneration package: Basic Salary R42 000 – R53 000 + 100% company contribution towards medical aid + provident/pension + company car + fuel + cell phone

1. Direct the planning of the sales network to ensure the optimum geographic distribution of the Company’s products.
2. Ensure the Dealer Network is able to support the Company’s products, to achieve sales & profit objectives with Parts & Service.
3. Establish Dealer Business Plans, and systematically evaluate dealer’s performance against such plans.
4. Develop and recommend policies and procedures relating to operational and developmental expenditure for the Dealer Network.
5. Develop and maintain Dealer Agreement that defines key responsibilities of the Company and the Dealer, including monitoring the effectiveness and compliance to the Dealer Agreement.
6. Foster the National Dealer Council as the formal communication channel between the Company and the Franchised Dealers.
7. Manage the Corporate Identification of Franchised Dealers to Iveco standard, in line with budgeted expenditure

Position: OEM Tyre Program Retail Marketing Manager
Location: Pretoria
12 month contract to permanent
Salary: R850 000 CTC + Company car (fully expensed)

• Serve as the OEM Tyre Program liaison between OEM Head Office, Dealers, Tyre Manufacturers, and other key stakeholders.
• Work with the Tyre Manufacturers to help them better understand Dealership needs for inventory improvement and staff training (sales and product).
• Train Tyre Manufacturer and Dealership staff on the operations, incentives, communications, reports, online tools, and all other elements of the OEM Tyre Program.
• Assist Tyre Manufacturers in setting expectations and goals for Dealerships.
• Support OEM Head Office Regional personnel in all Tyre Program elements.
• Serve as a support to the Tyre Manufacturers and at the Dealership level to maximise tyre strategies.
• Direct Dealership visits (with Tyre Manufacturer personnel and OEM Head Office field personnel) to improve all aspects of stocking, merchandising and selling of tyres including the use of inspections, promotions, and the competitive analysis of the open market business, etc.
• Attend and present Tyre Program updates at Parts & Service Manager meetings, monthly Regional Organisation Meetings, and Tyre Manufacturer Training Conferences
• Assist Dealerships with Tyre Program set up of tyre selections, inventory strategy, displays, etc.
• Enrollment of new Dealerships
• Work closely with the Ford Zone Managers to drive Dealer tyre business

Selection Criteria:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with personnel at all levels – from Dealership Service Advisors to Dealer Principals to OEM Head Office Senior Management.
• Tyre Industry experience across all levels – from working with/in Retail Stores to working directly with Tyre Manufacturers.
• Automotive Dealership experience/knowledge preferable.
• Must be available to travel interstate regularly.
• Well organized with a strong drive for results – able to drive the business and manage their time effectively.
• A good understanding of data management and analytics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The AG Technical Trainer is responsible for conducting After Sales technical training courses and presentations on Agricultural equipment products (combines, balers, forage harvesters). He/she delivers combine and baler operator courses. Course participants could be local company personnel, importer and dealer staff, local trainers, end users and college staff. Course delivery could be at the Company premises, dealer location or customer location in the field.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and organize all aspects of the training courses; materials, components, products, classrooms etc;
Feedback information of assessments of training course and material used. Take an active role in originating and developing new training materials;
Take responsibility for specific products as required to lead training delivery;
Work within the Product Support Group to develop the capacity of the dealer network to diagnose and solve customer concerns through training courses;
Provide feedback to the After Sales Managers and Product Support Groups on any concerns that have been brought to the trainer’s attention and support the development of local training centers in cooperation with the Training Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Technical diploma
Service or Field experience
Min 3 Years practical technical experience
Mechanical / electrical experience
Knowledge on all types of farming machinery requirement
Be prepared to travel and undertake training in any location.
