Remuneration: 

R624,000- R780,000 per annum

Location: Centurion & Rosslyn. Looking for an experienced Financial Services Area Sales Manager to be based at our Centurion / Rosslyn offices in South Africa.

Duties: The “FS Area Sales Manager” is responsible for supporting and promoting the sales of our Brands (Agricultural equipment and Parts) and (Commercial Vehicles and Parts) by selling full range of Retail financial products and services to and through assigned dealers within the dealer network.  The position is field-based, involves extensive travel, and is responsible for producing volume and margin, increasing market share, and the consistent growth of all FS retail products and services through the effective determination, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive dealer-by-dealer financial business development plan and through successful interaction with dealer management, staff, and customers and collaboration with the Commercial Brand counterparts.

 

Main Responsibilities Of The Role:

  • Achieve or exceed predetermined targets for the distribution of the full retail product range of FS in the assigned territory.
  • Support, promote, and facilitate the sale of machines, commercial vehicles and equipment through the provision of financial products and services to and through our network of dealers and customers.
  • Develop, implement and execute a region-specific and dealer-specific business development plan.
  • Adhere to the defined Sales Process as prescribed by management.
  • Conduct in-person monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly business review meetings (frequency established by dealer size and business potential) with dealer management and dealer functional departments.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development to dealer salespeople and staff; proactively recognize training needs and opportunities to maximize dealer sales effectiveness and growth of FS retail finance market share.
  • Assist in customer acquisition via joint sales calls with dealer salespeople.
  • Participate in dealer and Brand regional events (i.e. trade shows, open houses, product demonstrations, etc.) and other meetings as required by management.
  • Possess complete familiarity with all current finance programs and products.
  • Provide market intelligence and input to Brands and FS management.
  • Responsibly utilize the company expense policy in the pursuit of business.
  • Implement new product introductions and roll outs, product training, sales training.
  • Actively communicate the value proposition of FS to dealers, customers, and Brand counterparts.
  • Comply and assure dealer compliance with all policy, ethical, legal, and performance guidelines established by FS.
  • Identify and communicate areas of potential growth and develop action plans to capture opportunity and grow market share.
  • Perform other specific projects and implement initiatives as required by management.
  • Maintain licensing and certification as required by the company and/or national and/or local regulations.

Qualifications:

  • BCOM Degree an advantage
  • 3-5+ year’s experience in sales, and/or business development required
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets within a complex business environment.
  • Experience in Asset finance required.

Requirements:
• Matriculation grade 12 essential
• Tertiary qualification in business management or sales and marketing preferable
• Valid driver’s licence
• Proven track record and motor industry car sales experience (minimum 2 years)
• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays as requested
• Must have at least 3 current and consecutive years of new vehicle sales experience in the automotive dealership environment

Position: L7617 – Mercedes Benz Master/Petrol Technician and Diagnostic Technician – Australia

Location: Australia (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane)

Join one of the most established and reputable prestige car dealerships in Australia. Our client is looking to appoint a Mercedes Benz Master/Petrol Technicians as well as Mercedes Benz Diagnostic Technician.

You will be required to diagnose and repair vehicles according to dealerships and manufactures standards and to exceed customers expected quality level of service.

Duties:

  • Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
  • Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components and checking parts
  • Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed
  • Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-up’s, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
  • Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
  • Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
  • Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers

 

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification as a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic
  • Solid employment in a prestige European Brand – Mercedes Benz preferable
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and proficiency in all repair work
  • 3 – 5 years experience post qualifications
  • Current unendorsed drivers licence
  • Credit clear
  • Criminal clear
